• Replacements for Rochester and Peru.
• Beacon CU to join MoneyPass® nationwide network of surcharge-free ATMs. The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the
addition of a new Automated
Teller Machine in La Fontaine,
Indiana - just off of Indiana
State Highway 15. The
free standing ATM will be
located in the parking lot of
the Food Cupboard, one of
La Fontaine’s most popular
retail establishments. Access
to the Food Cupboard and its
parking lot is off of Logan Street
which may be directly accessed by turning East off of
Highway 15. You will be able to access funds from
your Beacon Credit Union checking and savings
accounts and make deposits free of charge. This
new machine is scheduled to be activated on June
1, 2007. In addition to this new ATM, the ATMs at our
Rochester and Peru branch offices will be replaced
with new, state-of-the-art equipment. Installation of
a new building and new ATM is scheduled at both
locations during the summer. In order to sustain long term health of the ATM and
Check Card (Debit) programs, preparations are
underway to move these services to a new provider
on August 15, 2007. As part of the change, Beacon Credit Union will join the MoneyPass® surcharge-
free ATM network, which translates into significant
benefits for you. MoneyPass® has thousands of
surcharge-free ATMs coast to coast — and the
network continues to grow. When you complete a transaction at any MoneyPass®
ATM, the credit union or bank
who owns that machine will
not charge you a surcharge
fee. Beacon Credit Union will
also remain a member of the
Alliance One surcharge-free
network, which offers similar
benefits. For more information
on MoneyPass®, including the MoneyPass® locations nearest you, visit www.beaconcu.org. If you carry a Beacon CU ATM or Check Card it is
very important to note the following information:
• You will be receiving a new ATM or Check Card
prior to August 15. The new cards will have a
new look, a new card number, new PIN (personal
identification number) and different expiration date
than your current card. • The current ATM or Check Card you carry will no
longer be valid beginning at 3:00 a.m. on August 15,
